Transforming growth factor β₁ (TGFβ₁) is a 25kDa homodimer composed of two 12.5kDa subunits held together by disulfide bonds. TGFβ₁ is a protein of immense interest to a number of fields and has been associated with intracellular matrix deposition and tissue repair/damage, cell cycle control and apoptosis. The Anti-TGFβ₁ pAb is directed against biologically active human TGFβ₁, providing a useful tool to analyze TGFβ₁ in Western blot analysis or immunostaining applications.
